Hello, I'm Dan.

I'm currently shaping the creator strategy for the shows everyone’s talking about.

Read on to see more about what I've worked on...

I'm a strategic creator marketing leader with 7+ years of experience in digital marketing and television, most recently shaping the creator strategy for the UK's largest broadcaster.

Over the years, I’ve led high-impact creator marketing campaigns for flagship titles including Doctor Who, The Traitors and the Winter Olympics, working across platforms including TikTok and YouTube. My work sits at the intersection of entertainment, internet culture and audience behaviour — combining strategic thinking with creator-first execution to build campaigns people genuinely want to engage with.

Managed 10 creators on long-term partnerships.

  • BBC Article announcing new roles.

INFLUENCER MARKETING

I undertook a new first-of-its-kind role within the BBC to shape the organisation's strategy for working with influencers. As part of this I pitched the BBC’s inaugural Influencer Ambassador Programme which I then took a leading role in launching.

I launched the Ambassador Programme, redefining how the BBC works with creators by piloting a new long-term partnership strategy. Managed 10 creators to deliver 11M+ views and was successfully recommissioned for a second phase.

REBORN (2018)

On the 5th of July 2017, Sophie Butler did a lot of things for the last time. She jumped out of bed for the last time, felt the kitchen floor under her feet for the last time, and ran on a treadmill for the last time. In one sudden moment her whole life changed. Following the one-year anniversary of her tragic accident, Reborn is an extraordinarily personal exploration about what it is like to accept and live with a disability.

Full film available soon.

I WILL HOLD ON (2017)

A short documentary made in association with Worthing Dementia Action Alliance.

Exploring an important social issue, this film shines a light on the often unspoken experiences of spouses of dementia sufferers.

It was a privilege to be able to get to know Ian, Lynda, and Maureen. My hope is that this film will help those who are in similar situations and also improve public awareness about the effects that dementia can have on carers.

The film also features on the Dementia Friendly Worthing website: Click Here
